Privacy Policy

OCReal (“the app”) is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy describes how we handle your data.
1. No Data Collection
OCReal does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, images, or extracted text. All processing happens entirely on your device. We do not have servers, analytics trackers, or crash reporters that send data externally.
2. Offline Operation
The app functions completely offline. It never requests internet access (unless you manually grant it for diagnostic purposes). Your images stay on your Mac, and no data is uploaded to any cloud service.
3. No Third-Party Sharing
Because we collect nothing, we share nothing. OCReal does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics frameworks.
4. App Store & Purchases
When you purchase OCReal through the Mac App Store, Apple handles your payment information according to Apple's Privacy Policy. OCReal never sees your payment details.
5. Your Rights
Since no data is collected, there is nothing to access, delete, or correct. You remain in full control of all your files and the text you extract.
6. Children's Privacy
OCReal does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app performs local text extraction without any form of tracking.
7. Changes to This Policy
Any future changes will be posted on this page and indicated by a new “Effective date”. We will never retroactively start collecting data without clear user consent.
