Avox is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data when you use our app.
No Data Collection
Avox does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, audio recordings, transcripts, or any other data to our servers or any third parties. Everything happens locally on your Mac.
Offline Operation
The app is designed to function completely offline. No internet connection is required for transcription or AI queries. Your audio files and transcripts never leave your device.
No Analytics or Tracking
We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or crash reporting tools that collect identifiable information. The only exception is standard crash reports that Apple may collect through the App Store, which are anonymized and governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Model Files
The Whisper and Qwen model files are bundled with the app and stored locally on your Mac. They do not communicate with external servers.
App Store Purchases
Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Children's Privacy
Avox does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is intended for general audiences.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the effective date. Since the app works offline, significant changes may be communicated via the App Store release notes.
